Free forging refers to a workpiece or blank obtained by forging and deforming a metal blank. Compared with the traditional forging method, open forging has higher production efficiency. Because traditional forging needs to manufacture molds and templates, the time and cost are relatively high, while open forging does not need to manufacture molds, but directly uses forging equipment for forging, which greatly improves the controllability of production efficiency and production costs.
